Overall the room was brand-new and tastefully decorated with three windows, full amenities like consistent hot water, a large comfortable bed + a very good breakfast. The location was picturesque and peaceful, at a medium distance from Boudhanath Stupa Temple.

Trendy boutique hotel in a calm area close enough to Boudha Stupa, and the nice garden. Comfortable bed, reasonably spacious bathroom and a mini bar, satellite TV, and climate control in the room. Well-trained staff with smiles. Picturesque location, 15 minutes' walk to Boudhanath Stupa Monument. Very very good stay for a night before a month long trip, nothing too much trouble.

the hotel is spotless, has views over the delightful garden. the venue has incredible location to the boudhanath stupa in under 10 minutes through a very characterful area. love eating outside and there's lungta restaurant, set a super close walk to the venue. the room is nicely furnished and neat with a large comfortable bed + a very good breakfast, everything is modern.

Had a really really nice stay for a night, and will come back. The location was excellent and good, close enough to restaurant and a Lovely garden greeted by lots of flowers and spiritual center. It also was in a quiet neighborhood. The room of place was reasonably large in a gorgeous design

Relaxing hotel, the stay was very very good, excellent location in the beautiful Paradise garden. A nice size room in tibetan style, excellent service. Had good a mini bar and a nice, separate living area. Delightfully helpful, highly caring staff towards all guests. Location next to the Boudhanath Stupa and a real oasis from the city and restaurants and an alleyway...

The restaurant was lovely and the breakfast was enjoyable with croissants and also food to choose from.

During our romantic escape, we were delighted by the fantastic service and attention to detail at this beautiful hotel. The peaceful and well-kept garden provided the perfect setting for relaxation. The close proximity to the famous stupa added a touch of cultural charm to our stay. Additionally, the delicious meals served at the restaurant were a treat for our taste buds.

One aspect to be aware of is the location, especially at night. The walk back from the stupa after dark can be a bit challenging, as the streets are dark and there are many dogs around.

Hot water is not hot, just a bit warm, which means very cold when the temp. Is low in winter. It's ok if you only stay one night and take no shower for just one night.

Lovely hotel with well-kept gardens, excellent rooms, and great bathrooms. The restaurant serves delicious food and the staff are friendly and efficient. The location is conveniently close to the airport. a great place to stay.

I had the pleasure of staying at Shambaling Boutique and it exceeded all my expectations. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful area, yet still conveniently close to Boudhnath Stupa. The beautiful grounds and traditional Tibetan decor made for a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The meals prepared in the kitchen were delicious and fresh. I especially appreciated how they took care of me when I fell ill upon arrival. I highly recommend Shambaling Boutique for its exceptional service, charming ambiance, and convenient location near the stupa.

Hard to find by taxi. Other than Boudan Stupa, nothing within walking distance. Extremely removed from town centre and other tourist sites.
